Pressure is generated by a MAXIMATOR pump with a pneumatic drive. The MAXIMATOR is simply connected to the company´s compressed air distribution network. An electrical connection is not necessary for generating pressure. MAXIMATOR aggregates can be equipped with any of the MAXIMATOR pump. The only limitations are: certain design dimensions and certain flow rate for the specific application. For easy commissioning and problem-free operation
MAXIMATOR aggregates are equipped with all the components necessary. This includes a pneumatic control unit with a combined water separator with a filtering insert, a pressure regulating valve, a control manometer, and a manual valve for closing off the driving air supply. For all applications within the hydraulic oil system, the pumps are always installed in the oil tank in a compact, space-saving manner. For pumping water or aggressive media, the pump sis always installed in the tank. Tanks with a capacity of 6.5 to 70 litres are available as standard. Larger tanks are available optionally upon request.
Depending on your request, tanks are available with carrying handles or an undercarriage (recommended accessory for all pumps of the G line and tank volume above 30 liters).
On the high-pressure side, the aggregate is equipped with a safety valve (relief valve) and a connecting block with one or two pressure outlets connecting to a testing device (individually or completely closable as per request).
For displaying and monitoring the operating pressure, we supply liquid manometers of various diameters, accuracy class 1.0 or 1.6 (higher accuracy upon request) for pressures of up to 7,000 bar.
MAXIMATOR aggregates with the above accessories are ready for connecting. To operate the device, it is only necessary to connect the air pipes and fill the tank with the appropriate operating medium.
MAXIMATOR offers an extensive range of accessories for all applications. These include pressure switches, floating valves, and pneumatically or electrically controlled valves for cylinder control. Furthermore, we offer connection adapters, quick couplings, pressure filters, high-pressure hoses, and shut-off regulating valves.
MAXIMATOR aggregates are prepared according to your individual needs. Our sales engineers in the technical offices as well as our employees working at the Nordhausen plant will be happy to provide you with relevant information and recommend the right aggregate for any individual application.
Mobile and portable MAXIMATOR hydraulic units can be used wherever it is necessary to generate hydraulic pressure. They are used, for example, in the manufacture of steel structures, boilers, tanks, and reactors, as well as in shipyards, smelters, machine engineering and locksmith operations. For many years, they have proven their usefulness in testing and acceptance processes, both in the field of working hydraulics and hydraulic clamping technology. Furthermore, the aggregates are being used for controlling hydraulic punchers and die systems. Moreover, they are used for aircraft hoisting in aircraft hangars, for clamping large fixtures, for testing pressure tanks and systems. Hydraulic tools from MAXIMATOR are used for pressurized oil systems as well as for mounting and dismounting large gears. Important also is the use of this device in hydraulic presses and in all places where high pressure must be maintained for extended time, such as tire presses and vulcanizing presses and press overload safety devices. For such special applications, we can deliver hydraulic units with a reversing device that allows one-sided or double-sided pressing. Switching to quick reverse can be achieved by pressurizing the return circuit with compressed air. In the case of isostatic pressing, our devices have proven their mettle excellently, as well.
For regular pressure testing (TÜV) using pressure vessels, MAXIMATOR offers complete pressure generating solutions. These aggregates are always assembled according to a specific customer´s request.
The required hydraulic pressure is created by means of a pneumatic pump. The hydraulic pressure corresponds to the set air pressure, multiplied by the pump´s transmission ration. Once the preset pressure is reached, the device automatically stops and holds the pressure steady until it starts to drop due to seepage or another reason. The device automatically restarts and continues to run until the preset pressure is reached again.
Thanks to air-driven control and regulation, the operation of the device is incomparably simple. The entire device is extraordinarily robust, operationally reliable, and durable even when operating in harsh operating conditions. Humid environment, dust, or higher temperatures do not affect the aggregate. MAXIMATOR hydraulic units are explosion-proof because they do not require electrical power.
